How can I get involved with play-testing?

Contact us and we will add you to our modest list of potential play-testers.

Where will this game be available?

Up the Blue games, including rules, charts, game cards, map-boards and playing pieces will be provided as reasonable quality digital downloads at modest cost.  Players must print and assemble their own hard copies of the game from the PDF files provided.

Why are you doing it this way?

Because the rent is too damn high.  Everyone should have access to decent quality and reasonably priced military games with a little extra effort.

Who is Isis Systems?

We are a systems analysis and data modelling consultancy in NSW, Australia which can't resist dabbling in game design.

What is up with this site, are you developing a game?

Yes, we are developing yet another military boardgame system to simulate the Western Desert battles of 1940-42.  Sadly other projects have intruded on our limited time so our apologies for not delivering the goods just yet.  We will try to put some useful resources and links here in the meantime and hopefully start posting some designer's notes on the rationale for development of the game system mechanics and ratings.

When is this going to happen?

Frankly we haven't even definitively scheduled final alpha testing, production development or beta testing of the Up the Blue games yet.
